HALO COVERT FEATURES
The Salt Spring Dollars contain HALO covert features that can only be seen by using our CheckMate Verification System. Both the $$50 and $$100 Front contain several covert features. Our patent pending technologies cannot be replicated by any of today's reproduction equipment. In short; the Salt Spring Dollars confirm that high-level security and great artwork can coexist in the same space.
The animation below is designed to illustrate one of the many HALO covert security features found in the newly release $$100.

By placing your CheckMate on a Salt Spring Dollar, images such as a flower (located just below the island) will emerge. By turning your CheckMate you will see this image disappear and a new image will come into view. A small heart will materialize to replace the flower. |
You will find the following covert features on the $$100:
- Two Level 2 HALOs - Flower turning into a heart, Island turning into a heart
- Two Guardian Angels - the $$ symbol beside the 100 plus a multi-colour portrait of Mrs. Murakami both located in the center of the bill.
You will find the following covert features on the $$50:
- One Level 2 HALO - Island turning into a heart
- Two Guardian Angels - the $$ symbol beside the 50 and a multi-colou portrait of Mr. & Mrs. Akeman both located in just right of center in the bill.
