Sentinel
VOID pantograph
- A patented
system (US Patent 5,788,285) which incorporates a hidden security
feature or image into the background
of the paper.
- When
an attempt to photocopy or scan is made, the hidden feature such
as
the words "UNAUTHORIZED COPY" (as in example below)
will show up on the copied or scanned document.
- The hidden
feature(s) can be any wording such as "NULL", "VOID",
"COPY", "PROPERTY OF" and also any LOGOS or IMAGES.
- This
process is effective against copying over a broad spectrum of black
and white
and colour copiers.
- Reproduction
and forged copies will lack the hidden feature(s).
- The hidden
security images can also be seen using the CheckMate
verification system.
- "CHECK
21" compliant
- “Scan
Resident Image Security” (SRIS)TM a
feature which stays with the check image securing it while it is
being exchanged between banks.
